Red Leather Double Paddle, 45cm

This black leather paddle from Red Leather measures 44.5 by 5 cm, long enough to give you real reach and leverage. The vegetable-tanned leather is made in Europe and keeps its stiffness and shape through repeated sessions instead of turning soft and floppy too soon. The result is a paddle that lands with a firm, defined slap and feels solid and well finished in the hand.

The length lets you build a steady rhythm without tiring your arm, and you can stand a little further back for wider strokes. Start every scene with a warm-up: rub and pat the skin with your hand, then begin with light, slow strokes and increase force gradually as the skin flushes and your partner relaxes into it. Use the flat of the paddle on fleshy areas such as the buttocks and the backs of the thighs, and keep away from the lower back, kidneys, spine, joints and face.

Impact play works best with clear communication. Agree on a safeword and a simple scale for intensity, check in between sets and watch your partner's body language. Afterwards, take time for aftercare, a cooling cream on the skin and a few calm minutes together.

Clean the paddle with a damp cloth or a toy cleaner suitable for leather, let it dry naturally and treat it with leather balm now and then.
