Materials
Polycarbonate: light, rigid and hypoallergenic, in black or transparent. Most ManCage models (Model 01 to 06, 13, 25 and 26, €33.95 to €48.95) are polycarbonate and come with several rings and spacers, a small padlock and numbered plastic locks.
Silicone: softer and flexible, more comfortable for long wear. The ManCage Model 23 and 24 (€57.95 and €58.95), the medical grade silicone Model 19, 20 and 21, the ultra soft Model 27 and 28 (€27.95) and the Doc Johnson CUMfort Cage (€146.95).

Size
Two measurements matter. Cage length: ManCage comes in 6.5 cm (Model 13 and 23), 9 cm (Model 01, 02, 24 and 25), 11.5 cm (Model 03, 04, 21 and 26) and 14 cm (Model 05 and 06); choose about the length of your penis when fully soft, or slightly shorter. Ring size: the inner diameter of the base ring, from 32 to 45 mm in our range. The ring should sit snugly behind the balls with room for one finger. Short cages such as the XR Brands Bull (about 6 cm, four rings from 4 to 6 cm) and Hard Stop (about 5 cm) are the strictest.
Extreme and special cages

Wearing a cage safely
Start with an hour or two at home and build up gradually. Shave or trim the base for comfort and hygiene and use a little water-based lubricant on the ring. Remove the cage at once if you notice numbness, coldness, pain, swelling or discolouration. Keep a spare key where both of you can reach it in an emergency, or use numbered plastic locks, which also pass airport metal detectors. Rinse the cage daily under the shower and clean it thoroughly with mild soap or a toy cleaner.

Steel, silicone or polycarbonate: which is best?

How long can you wear a chastity cage?
Start with a few hours and build up slowly. With a good fit and daily cleaning, many men wear one for days, but remove it immediately at any pain, numbness, swelling or chafing. Always keep a way to open the cage yourself in an emergency, for example a spare key or a plastic lock you can cut.
Can I urinate and shower while wearing a cage?
Yes, every cage has an opening at the tip. Sitting down is easier and cleaner, and rinsing afterwards keeps the cage fresh. You can shower with the cage on: rinse it through with warm water, use a small brush now and then, and dry the skin well to prevent irritation.
What is a keyholder?
The person who holds the key and decides when the cage comes off. Numbered plastic locks let a keyholder see whether the cage was opened, and they pass through airport security without metal. Agree on rules, check-ins and an emergency plan together before you hand over the key.
