Silicone Dildos
A silicone dildo is the body safe choice: the material is non porous, contains no phthalates, warms to your body within minutes and can be cleaned completely. This department brings together all our dildos made of silicone, from RealRock dual density and sliding skin models and SinsFactory liquid silicone harness dildos to Fiction Cocks, XR Brands and Doc Johnson fantasy shapes and inflatable dongs, in many sizes.

Every dildo here lists silicone as its material, so the choice comes down to feel, size, the base and care.
Why silicone, and how to recognise the real thing
Silicone is non porous: lubricant, body fluids and soap do not soak into the surface, so a good wash removes everything and the toy lasts for years. Cheaper blends sold as jelly, TPE or PVC are porous and wear out sooner, and the word silicone in a product name proves nothing, so always check the material line in the specifications. Real silicone feels silky or slightly powdery, never greasy, has no chemical smell and shows no white stress lines when you pinch and twist it.
Firmness: single density, dual density and sliding skin
Single density means one material all the way through, from firm to quite flexible. Most Fiction Cocks fantasy dildos, such as the Fiction Cocks Galactic Hydra (16 cm insertable, 5 cm wide), are made of a flexible liquid silicone that bends with your body. A firmer shaft gives clearer pressure and is easier to control in a harness. Dual density combines a firm core with a softer outer layer that gives like skin: the RealRock dual density curved dildo comes in 15.5 cm, 18.5 cm and 20.5 cm insertable length. With sliding skin, the outer layer also moves over the core, as on the RealRock sliding skin dildo.
Size and how to measure
The total length includes the base, so look at the insertable length. Width, the maximum diameter in the specifications, matters more for comfort. Measure a toy you enjoy at its widest point, or wrap a strip of paper around it and divide the circumference by 3.14. For a first silicone dildo, 12 to 15 cm insertable and 2.5 to 3.5 cm wide suits most people, such as the SinsFactory compact liquid silicone dildo (12.2 cm insertable, 2.7 cm wide) or the SinsFactory medium (14.5 cm, 3.3 cm). Fantasy shapes are often wider than they look: the Fiction Cocks Kraken's Lick is 15 cm insertable and 5 cm wide, the Fiction Cocks Infernal Demon 21.5 cm and 6 cm. Move up about half a centimetre in width at a time. With the inflatable silicone dong you add width with the pump once it is inside. For more size, see double and XXL dildos.
Harness, suction cup and how to choose
For hands free riding on tiles or glass, choose a suction cup and wet it slightly first. For strap-on play, the base must be flat or flared and wider than the ring of the harness. Both SinsFactory models and most RealRock and XR Brands models with a suction cup fit standard strap-on harnesses. A curved shaft gives G-spot and P-spot pressure, a straight one suits deep thrusting. For anal play, always pick a flared base or suction cup that cannot slip in. For the look of a real penis, see realistic dildos; for dragons, demons and tentacles, see fantasy dildos.
Lubricant: water based only
Use a water based lubricant. Silicone lubricant, and hybrid lubricant that contains silicone, can react with the surface of a silicone dildo and leave it tacky or rough, and that damage does not wash off. Water based lubricant rinses away with water and works with condoms. Use plenty, especially for anal play and wider models.
Cleaning, boiling and storage
Wash your dildo before and after use with warm water and mild, unscented soap or a toy cleaner. A solid silicone dildo without a pump, metal or plastic parts can also go into boiling water for three to five minutes; keep it off the bottom of the pan. Inflatable models are only washed, and for dual density and sliding skin models you follow the instructions of the maker. Dry it fully and store it in its own pouch, out of sunlight: silicone pressed against other silicone or soft plastic can turn sticky. If you share it or switch from anal to vaginal play, wash it in between or use a condom.
Frequently asked questions
How do I know a dildo is really made of silicone?
Check the material line in the specifications, not the name. Real silicone has no chemical smell, feels silky rather than greasy and shows no white lines when you pinch it.
Which lubricant can I use with a silicone dildo?
Water based lubricant only. Silicone and hybrid lubricants can damage the surface for good.
Can I boil a silicone dildo?
A solid silicone dildo without a pump, metal or plastic parts, yes, for three to five minutes. Only wash inflatable models; for dual density, follow the maker.
What size should I start with?
About 12 to 15 cm insertable and 2.5 to 3.5 cm wide. Width matters more than length.
Does a silicone dildo fit a harness?
Yes, if the base or suction cup is wider than the ring of the harness. A firm or dual density model is the easiest to control.
Can I use a silicone dildo for anal play?
Yes, with a flared base or suction cup that stops it from slipping in. Start slim, use plenty of water based lubricant and wash it before you switch.
