Leather & Latex

Leather and latex are the classic materials of fetish wear, and both need the right care to look their best. This shelf focuses on rubber essentials: Pjur Cult ultra shine spray and latex shining gel for a deep, wet gloss, plus a striking M Proud latex fan and an EXS non latex oral dam. Ideal for anyone who wants their gear to look good and last.

Getting the shine right

Latex looks dull straight out of the bag. A silicone based shine spray like Pjur Cult or a shining gel, applied with a soft cloth, gives that glossy, wet look and makes the material glide. Use a dressing aid or a little talc free powder inside to slip garments on, and avoid oil based products, which break down latex. Remove sharp jewellery and watch long nails.

Care and storage

Rinse latex in lukewarm water after wearing, dry it inside and out in the shade and store it away from sunlight, heat and metals such as copper, which stain rubber. Keep pieces separate or hang them on padded hangers. Leather needs a different routine: wipe it clean, let it dry naturally and condition it now and then. Latex allergies are common, so a non latex barrier keeps oral play safe.

Can I use any lube on latex?

Water based and silicone lubes are fine, but oils are not. Check the label of your lubricant.
