A Wartenberg wheel has a row of fine pins on a rolling head. Rolled lightly it tickles; with more pressure it prickles and leaves faint lines. Wheels with several heads spread the feeling and feel more intense. Feather ticklers and wands are the opposite: soft, light and perfect for slow teasing along the neck, sides and inner thighs. Alternating the two keeps your partner guessing.
Use and hygiene
Use the wheel on intact skin only and avoid the eyes, genitals and broken or irritated skin. Let the weight of the wheel do the work and increase pressure slowly. Because pins can break the skin, never share a wheel between partners without disinfecting it. Clean steel with a toy disinfectant; shake out feathers and keep them dry.
