XR Brands Soft Neoprene Handcuffs, Fully Adjustable

These handcuffs bring the look and control of classic cuffs, but with a soft neoprene lining that sits gently on the wrists. Hard metal cuffs can pinch and chafe during longer scenes; the padding here spreads the pressure, so the cuffs stay comfortable for much longer. They are made of neoprene, plastic and steel, adjust fully to fit slim and broad wrists alike, and have a built-in lock that keeps them closed.

Safety is built in as well. A quick-release button opens the cuffs in a moment, without searching for a key, which makes them a good choice for anyone new to restraint. Start with the wrists cuffed in front of the body, which is the most comfortable position, and move to behind the back once you know how your partner responds. They also combine easily with a blindfold, a collar or a bed restraint system.

Close the cuffs snugly but leave enough room for a finger between cuff and wrist. Check now and then for cold fingers, tingling or colour change, and loosen them straight away if anything feels wrong. Agree on a safeword or a non-verbal signal before you start, and never leave a cuffed person alone.

Wipe the neoprene with a damp cloth and mild soap after use, and let the cuffs dry completely before storing them.
