Red Leather Wooden Mouth Gag, Padded 5cm

Instead of a ball, this gag from Red Leather uses a padded wooden bar of 5 cm that sits crosswise in the mouth, much like a bit. The wood gives the wearer something firm to bite down on, while the padding softens the contact with teeth and lips. The strap is made in Europe from genuine vegetable-tanned cowhide, which feels solid, ages beautifully and stays comfortable against the cheeks and the back of the head.

The strap adjusts from 56 to 73 cm, so it fits most head sizes. Place the bar gently between the teeth, check that the corners of the mouth are not stretched too far and buckle the strap at the back so it holds without cutting in. The buckle can be secured with a small padlock, which puts release fully in the hands of the dominant partner. A bar gag muffles speech while leaving the lips partly open, so drool is part of the look; combine it with cuffs or a blindfold for a deeper sense of surrender.

Because the wearer cannot speak clearly, agree on a non-verbal safe signal before you start, such as dropping a held object or tapping three times.
