To put it on, wrap the collar around the neck and press the Velcro closed so that two fingers fit between collar and throat. Attach the leash only once the collar sits right. Lead with gentle, steady pressure and never pull sharply or upwards, as the neck is a sensitive area. A collar should never restrict breathing. Agree on a safeword or a non-verbal signal, especially during pet play when your partner may stay in role and not speak.

Neoprene can be wiped clean with a damp cloth and mild soap. Keep the Velcro free of hair and fluff so it keeps gripping well.
