Picking a fantasy
Talk about the scenario first: who plays which role, what the scene looks like and what is off limits. A French maid or nurse set from Mapalé is a classic starting point, while police and S.W.A.T. costumes suit a playful power dynamic. Pair an authority role with a riding crop or cuffs if you both enjoy that, and agree on a safeword even when the play feels light.
Fit and finishing touches
Costumes follow the same kind of size charts as our lingerie, and several come in plus sizes. Wetlook pieces have little stretch, so measure carefully. Complete the look with stockings and gloves, heels and a few props. Hand wash fabric pieces and hang them to dry; wipe vinyl and wetlook clean with a damp cloth.
Are the costumes suitable for a party?
Some, like the flapper or varsity dress, work well for themed nights out. Bedroom sets with open cups are meant for private play.
