Gags
A gag is a bondage toy that fills or holds open the mouth, so the wearer cannot speak and has to surrender to the scene. Gags are about power exchange, helplessness and the look of restraint, and they range from soft silicone ball gags for beginners to head harnesses, muzzles and inflatable gags for experienced players.

We stock around 60 gags from €7.95 to €117.95, most from Ouch! by Shots, with XR Brands, Doc Johnson, Steel by Shots and Red Leather. Most have a ball of about 4 to 4.5 cm on an adjustable strap.
Types of gags
Ball gags: a ball held in the mouth by a strap, the classic. Silicone balls (Ouch! Silicone Ball Gag, €16.95, 4.2 cm) are softer on the teeth; solid leather and PU models (from €9.95) look traditional. The Steel by Shots Oval Ball Gag (42.5 mm) is shaped to sit more comfortably.
Breathable ball gags: perforated balls that let air through and are easier for longer wear, such as the Ouch! Black Leather Breathable Ball Gag (€9.95) and Breathable Neoprene Ball Gag (€13.95).
Ring gags and open-mouth gags: hold the mouth open instead of filling it, such as the Ouch! Classic Leather Ring Gag (inner ring 37 mm, €10.95), the Medical Grade Silicone Ring Gag (4 cm, €17.95), the Ring Gag XL and the Deep Throat Gag.
Bit and bone gags: a bar between the teeth, like a horse bit or dog bone, such as the Ouch! Silicone Bit Gag (€14.95) and Medical Grade Silicone Bone Gag (€18.95). Popular in pony and puppy play.
Head harnesses and muzzles: straps around the head hold the gag firmly in place, like the Ouch! Leather Head Harness with Ball Gag (€22.95), the Leather Muzzle with Removable Ball Gag (€24.95) or the XR Brands Muzzle Harness (€36.95).
Inflatable gags: the XR Brands Inhibitor (€66.95) and the Red Leather Inflatable Gag with Expandable Ball (€117.95) grow in the mouth with a hand pump, for experienced players only.
Choosing size and material
Start with a small, soft gag. A 4 cm silicone ball or a bit gag is comfortable for most people; larger balls and wide rings tire the jaw quickly. Medical grade silicone is soft, non-porous and easy to clean; leather looks classic but needs more care. Check that the strap is adjustable, roughly between 41 and 73 cm in our range, and has a quick-release buckle.
Safety first
A gagged partner cannot use a spoken safeword, so agree on a non-verbal signal, such as dropping an object, tapping three times or humming a set rhythm. Never gag someone with a blocked nose, a cold, nausea or after drinking, and never leave a gagged person alone. Keep the first sessions short, give the jaw regular breaks, and remove the gag at once if breathing becomes difficult. Drool is normal: keep a towel nearby. Wash after every use with warm water and a toy cleaner.
A blindfold and wrist cuffs complete a classic restraint scene.
Frequently asked questions
What is the best gag for beginners?
A small silicone ball gag of about 4 cm or a soft silicone bit gag with an adjustable, quick-release strap. Breathable balls make longer wear easier.
Is a ball gag safe?
Yes, when the wearer can breathe freely through the nose, sessions are short, a non-verbal stop signal is agreed and the wearer is never left alone.
What size ball gag should I choose?
Most people are comfortable with 4 to 4.5 cm. Larger balls fill more but tire the jaw quickly; start small.
What is the difference between a ball gag and a ring gag?
A ball gag fills the mouth; a ring gag holds the mouth open with a ring, leaving it accessible.
How do you use a safeword with a gag?
You cannot speak, so agree on a signal beforehand: dropping a ball or keys held in the hand, tapping three times or humming a fixed rhythm.
How do I clean a gag?
Wash the ball or bit with warm water and mild soap or toy cleaner after every use. Wipe leather straps with a damp cloth and let everything air dry.
