Getting started

Most people begin with a mask or muzzle and a collar, then add a tail when they feel comfortable. Neoprene from XR Brands and Prowler Red is light, flexible and washable, which matters during active play. Tail plugs come with a metal or silicone base; silicone is more forgiving for beginners. Take a look at collars and leashes to complete the outfit, and at hoods and masks for other headgear.

Playing safely

Pet play is about trust and headspace, so agree on limits and a non verbal signal, since a pup in a mask or muzzle cannot always speak. Insert tail plugs with plenty of lubricant and avoid positions that push hard on the plug. Take breaks to drink and stretch during long sessions. Wash neoprene by hand and clean plugs with toy cleaner.
